I took the bass to practice, and it sounds great, especially in Series mode. In parallel, I have to be carefull with the balance between the pickups because the MIM neck and Vintage Noiseless Bridge have differing outputs.

My country band Janesville has a short TV spot on WGN during the noon hour tomorrow (Friday), and I am feeling confident enough that I think I'm going to use this bass. I'll let you all know how it turns out.
