Very nice! If it plays and sounds as good as it looks, it is a definite keeper.

The idea for the piezo was to get some more snap to the sound, I wanted a super bright and clear sound. It delivers. Sure, woody sounds can be dialed quite easily, just back off the treble and mids a bit and favor the piezo. Reminds me of an acoustic bass.

Damn, I was hoping i would manage to make a thread of my new AV before you, but our camera still isn't working (or actually we don't have appropriate objective, new one should come this week).
Anyways congrats, it sure looks great!
Btw my older 5string fretted AV also has a piezo(Invalid Link Removed. Have had it over a year and bought it second hand, never problems with intonation. But i haven't changed the string gauge

i normally don't like scrolls ( or those tumour growth things the seem to come off the bridge below that strap button for that matter) but that bass is very nice.

15mm, very very comfortable and fast to play. Even for my clumsy fingers. I had a Warwick sixer with 16.5mm spacing, this plays like butter compared to it. Slapping isn't too hard, even though one might think it would be. The tight spacing is especially easy on the fretting hand.
To each his own, I'd quess some would find this a bit too tight. I like it
