Here it is on the "mule". It's an older '62 AVRI that normally wears just a chrome control plate making it easier to try different pups. This bass is a real player as it's pretty beat up and only weighs 7lbs 8ozs. Anyway, this bass was at my office when the pickguard showed up so I tried it on it first. Looks pretty good on black! I'll put it on the white bass later.....or, maybe buy another for the white one. These are really awesome pickguards. They have the correct edge bevel and thin "black layer". Spitfire7 has got these down to perfection.

Luckily Fender now offers a "Tort Finger," to help amplify those resonances that fall within the tort spectrum.

That looks really nice mr wobble. I've been playing around dead spots on Fenders for 40 years. I'll continue to before my Fenders wear one of those.
