It's too bad Ampeg doesn't offer a tube pre-amp any longer as one of those and a 1 RU amp (like GK) is a high powered, tube-a-lishis party.

I just can't legitimize a 50 watt amp (tube, SS, atomic, or whatever you got) for $1K.
Pretty much the same with gtr. amps too.
