my pedal board plan :D

Hey.........

This may be too little too late, but I just caught wind of this thread......Kevin pretty much nailed the answers though....
(THANKS!)

The 'New' expression interface is wired as Kev's is, and with it being a MUCH nicer feature now, I added it to the stock Wad.

BTW kevin's Wad has almost every mod I have ever done to it (sans boost/cut) I had to break out the shoehorn......

The 'Volume loss' comes from filtering (attenuating/removing) frequencies from the signal. The signal isn't really any 'quieter', but by the time the lows AND highs are removed (BP) a boost is needed to perceive unity gain.......and in LP mode, it isn't an issue.

Let me know if you have other questions.......

Voodoo Pedal Power is regulated, so you are correct. The regulation isn't totally necessary either way, it will just provide more consistent operation. I doubt most people would hear any difference except in the 'worst case scenario' type situation. The regulation would also allow a wider range of DC supply. Most 'pedal people' won't need this.

D:
Damnit. i just bought 3 new pedals.

also, just remembered something else. I remember kev talking about a switch on his that allowed him to use all the pedals in the loop with out having the meatwad on. i was wondering if it was possible to adjust the lay out and have that switch as a stomp switch, next to the original switch possibly?

Thanks

I could add a second stomp, but not in that box. At least not without losing some features. His is on a flip switch that changes the stomps function. It can be set to do either:

switch between MeatWad with DISABLED FX LOOP
& bypassing MeatWad THROUGH the FX LOOP

OR:

Switch between MeatWad WITH FX LOOP
& True Bypass

With a second stomp (and a relay), you could choose any of the four options above on the fly, but it would cost about $50 or $60 extra, plus you would have to have a larger box OR skip the Expression jack. There just isn't room for all of it.
