I'm not "betting" on getting anything for free but just trying to be smart with the funds I have available. Like I said, I already have a bow that works OK so it's no gamble to have to wait a little while. After I find a bass I'll buy one of Bob (all hail) G's $150 bows if the bass didn't come with something comparable (which I'm assuming it won't). I'm not planning on having a good bow, just something I can use for the woodshed.
