I'm using the VT because of the Gain bump it brings in, in addition to creating a greater tonal pallete, e.g. Fat Tube, Svt, Fliptop. I usually use my own mix of these guidelines.

Nukes , it was designed by Dennis Kager, a friend of mine , who worked at Ampeg in the 60's.
BTW, I originally got this as a B100V , the combo with 1 15". My friend built the cab after I pulled the amp section out of the combo .

I've got a Pignose B100VH going into an Eden 115 can. Absolutely love it! I don't understand why more people didn't fall in love with these heads!
I liked mine quite a bit, but my guitar player fell completely in love with it. He has made it the foundation of a great tone. Nice rig!
