My stupid "friend"

Yeah, I....er, my friend did the same thing with a GBE750 head. I...er, he would sometimes use two GB Neox 212T cabs or just a single 212T and forget to slide the switch over at times. I...er, he did not recall a major differenc in volume. But I..er he would usually discover this at the gig and correct it.

I...dang it, he no longer owns that amp but I..er he...no WE now own a Neopak and a STM-900.

Gotta Getta Genz.....my friend always says that....er, me too sometimes. :bassist:

If I was in a good day I would have come over your place and went over all the details, connections and specs….

Just messing around! :D

Have fun with your GB, these guys are great!

Yes the Genz guys kick major butt!! I've been using their stuff exclusively for 8 years now and I've never had one single issue with any piece. My GBE has been gigged at least twice a week since March and it delivers every single show. When I was researching the gbe to find out if it what right for me I'd contact them via email and would always get a prompt response from Jeff himself, honest and very helpful. I'll be a GB lifer for sure!!

Since the 2 ohm switch is working out so well and provides another sonic option, I'd be very pleased to see it on the lighter amps too...

Hint, hint, nudge, nudge...

=wr=

Different mechanism internally, the lightweight amps use a different topology that wouldn't benefit.
