Double Bass My Trip To Guitar Center

Just visited Guitar Center today and fooled around with a Little Mark Tube 800. It is indeed a little warmer sounding than the Little Mark II. It also has phantom power and two inputs with level controls. Personally, I think it sits on the EB side of the fence, but it could be a good match for other folks instruments. Frankly, I was a little surprised by it's pre amp, of course I had the VLE and VPF controls all the way off.

LOL, I took my son there when he was 4. He pointed to the wall of shiny electric guitars and said at the top of his voice: "Daddy, what are those little basses?"

Needless to say, I was pleased.
