Save all emails and correspondence regarding this. Write a timeline of notes. If things progress and you are threatened with your employment or experience harassment, or even fired, they will come in very handy.

I added it to the report I turned in. I would have recorded the call but I had no idea she was going to answer or step out of line.

GOT one! But guess what. It was not the same thing most of my co workers got. I went to Costco and got a "fresh" shot that had no mercury in it and another toxin I did not want.

When I told the infection control nurse about that she dismissed it out of hand. SO much for what she thought she knows. I referred her to the Pharmacy.

The influenza shot only protects against certain strains of influenza. Adenovirus, norovirus, etc. aren't covered. Something like norovirus will hit like the flu, but without the respiratory component.

As for the toxicology aspect, I'm highly trained in tox, but musicians know more than I do, obviously.

More Drama. Two weeks ago I slipped in the snow and landed hard on my shoulder. I think a bottle I had in my hand ended up between the ground and my rib cage. I worked on it for 6 days and pain was still there so I went to minor care and they took x rays.

Fractured rib or cracked. I was worried it was an organ or something and asked if working with it would make it worse, I was told no so whatever went back to work. After two more shifts it was like agony, as if I had been forced to do 1000 sit ups So I went back after that shift and the doc said to take two days off and put me on hydrocodone. One pill stopped the pain and I went to bed.

Have not taken any since because I rurally don't need it unless I am working, pushing, pulling, lifting Etc.


Never had a cracked rib before and can only imagine what a broken one would feel like!

Can't wait for this dull pain to leave me. Gonna get the prescription for the pills filled. They said not to take them while working but you know what? I don't think I will have any choice if they want me to work. All it does it kill the pain I don't get sleepy or anything.

I'd have been ****ing livid (but then again, that's why i never had a good job. Because i won't take being stepped on so i never got anywhere cause id rather quit a job than being subjected to that kind of ****).

Pardon me for being skeptical, but solid, reliable employees vastly outnumber unreliable employees and are normally valued by most businesses. If you've spent your life bouncing from crappy job to crappy job, you are either very unlucky or need to take a close look at your attitude.

EDIT - I meant to say reliable employees are vastly outnumbered "by" unreliable employees.

You were talking to another member but I can say I have been from job to job not because I am just un lucky. I stay long term if not. I have left jobs because of plants closing, operations movings, loss wages due to NAFTA GATT Etc. I only quit one part time job in the mid 90's to take a full time job but 10 months later the job relocated and I had no interest in moving with it.
