If that's any kind of EV 15 inside, BUY IT!

The speaker might have a stamp on the back. Unscrewing the speaker for a quick inspection might yield more information.

If it's an EV, there will be internal EV part and assy. numbers that will identify it to an EV pro speaker service shop. I do have that information on all of the older EV drivers, including many of the variants.

i was thinking more car audio with a auto sub installed.

I recall Radio Shack in Vancouver selling those in the mid 90's
