Mystery bass on Craigslist

Came across this bass on Craigslist, with a "Y" on the headstock. Neck thru design. Cheap price. I'm not going to chase it bc I have my eye on something else, but was still wondering what this bass was.

Gut feeling tells me its an early 2000's Korean made bass - but that's pretty much just coming from an educated guess. Emphasis on guess.

What do ya think?

Looks pretty sweet! It has a lot of similarities to the stuff made by Cort for other labels, which were made in Korea and they were really nice. I think if the neck is good that could be a really cool bass to upgrade.

Nice bass, nice price.

hmm. did you check out this bass?

still posted.

too good to be true?

stolen?

I didn't check it out. (I have a baker's dozen basses already - and a couple more on my want list, so trying not to pick up unneeded "inventory".)

I've noticed stuff has been sitting on Craigslist longer and longer - even things that appear to be good deals. Stuff that is "unknown" - such as this bass - is being passed over by everyone.
