Do the new ATK basses have the same design as the old ones, you know the Scotty Bevaliqua no tension neck. I doubt it for $250.

iirc only the USA ATK models had the tension free neck of the original run, not the MIJs or MIKs

I believe you maybe right. My ATK 200 (new this year) looks the same as the ATK 300 except the pick up is duel humbucker(ATK 200) rather than triple coil (ATK 300) and a rosewood fret board vs the maple fret board. Both basses have a active pre amp with Bass/Mid/ Treble controls and the 3 way switch. I am very curious how the sound between the ATK 200 and the ATK 300 compare.
