n00b question about svt4 pro w/ 810

Well, considering you play with Tom Kelly, I will help you out. ;)

You will want to construct a custom cable that has 1+ leading to the top of a 1/4" jack, and 2+ leading to the sleeve of a 1/4" jack. Set the amp up in bridge mode and connect this connector into output labeled "Bridge/Mono."

Go down to Burlington Guitar & Amp and they should be able to make a cable for you.

Well, when you buy an svt-4 there is a calbe in the box, one end is a speakon connector and the other end is a normal 1/4 jack, the cable is labeled mono-bridge.

you plug the speakon end in the head, where it is written mono bridge, you then plug the other end of the calbe into the 8x10. if it's an old 8x10 you'l have only one input, if it's a newer one you'll have three inputs,

making this pattern

O
OO

you plug into the bottom left.

Also make sure that on the back of the head the mono bridge button is pressed in.

I don't know why anyone would suggest making your own cable when there is one that is provided with the head.
