So after "retiring" from music almost two years ago, I decided to join a band again. I wanted to run direct, but since this a metal band and I'm fighting against two guitar players with half stacks, I was going to need volume. My favorite prior loud rig was an Orange TB500 I to an Ampeg hlf 4x10. Boomy and loud, but too darn heavy. I replaced that with a TC Electronic head and matching 2x10. Sounded good and super easy to carry. This time, just wanted something different.. Enter the Ampeg BA210v2. Not too heavy. Good sound. Plenty of volume. I can't comment on the scrambler drive system though as I use my newly acquired Bass Soul Food for that.
