NAD: Baby Sumo + Arkham Abyss

IMG_0089.JPG
Love the Baby Sumo! Run mine with a Shaw Tube Injection pre.

I have the Zephyr which I use with a Quilter BB800 which neededs rack ears. I made the rack ears out of 2 steel plates that I found at Home Depot. The plates are typically used for wooden frame supports. They are easy to bend and drill through. They are very cheap. Otherwise you can get a rack shelf made specifically for small units sold at Sweetwater, etc. they cost more but it's an alternative. With the rack shelve you would mount the pre from the bottom of the pre...if it's got rubber feet then you can unscrew them and line up the holes of the pre with the pre cut holes /slots on the rack shelf...or make new holes.

Are you hooking up the Zephyr through the line in on the Quilter?
As of recent I plug the Zephyr thru the front of the Quilter and keep the gain on the Quilter under 2. I had done it thru the line in and liked it...which the sound of the Zephyr comes thru on its own. If you plug in up front then you have a combination although I do not touch the deep and sweep dials but leave them at noon.
