NAD: Fender Rumble 40

Picked this up today after buying a Rumble 25 last Wednesday but the overdrive just wasn't cutting it so I returned it and looked at the Ampeg BA-110 and the Rumble 40. Yes I was heartbroken that the 110 did not have a DI out as I love ampegs even though it was cheaper due to this I chose the 40. So far I like it and after some EQing was able to get an Ampegy tone. It is really light and I love the overdrive and the footswitch jack is a plus.

congrats on that amp......I've got the Fender Bronco amp.....has some amp modelling, including something call the "Rockin Peg"..whatever that means

I'm picking one up used like new on Friday for 100.00, unless something drastic happens. Looking forward to using it as my home practice amp.

I'm pretty much set on picking up the Rumble 40 at my local GC. The 4-band EQ filter looks nice and the weight is good for a one-handed carry, with my laptop/accessories bag in the other hand and bass on my back.
