Just picked this beauty up today. It's in very good shape and sounds great, very noise free, through my recently purchased Berg CN212.

I will be considering a LDS old-school 1x15 build to match it up with sometime soon. It came equipped with a sextet of original USA RCA 6L6gc power tubes. It does have an issue with the 2 input jacks, but this appears to be a pretty easy fix. It also has a very sketchy patch/splice on the power cord, but again, this should be easy to bring up to spec.

no pics/no amp, so I thought I'd share.

RCA 6L6's rule. Unfortunately, the ones in my Super just took a dump last year. Was trying them out in my B-15 and one lost its vacuum as I pulled it out of the B-15. I priced NOS RCA 6L6's, then decided, eh, new tubes ain't that bad ;)

New Amp Day....

agree, nice score....how many watts is it?

should be a VERY easy fix

thanks. The circuit is designed to deliver 200w. Certianly sounds like it thu the Berg CN212 which is a pretty efficient cab at 104db/2.8v/1m

Works fine as is, just want to address some of the minor issues and make it right.

My Studio Bass Amp was a combo, with 15" EVM15L. It was a monster! And way too heavy! Wish I'd converted the amp portion to a head, like yours. It was a great amp. I'm sure you'll enjoy yours for many years!!! Nice score!
