Just a couple hours ago the FedEx guy showed up with my new V3 Rumble 500 combo and 115 cabinet. Of course is was necessary to instantly verify that everything works, which it does. I had played around with the Rumble 200 combo a few times at a local music store, but they didn't stock the 500; I ordered one from Sweetwater along with the 115 cab. This is a great-sounding amp setup which is delightfully non heavy. I played my straight PBass (2007) with flat wound Chromes through the new amp and it satisfies. I set the mids flat with bass at one o'clock and treble at eleven o'clock, gain at noon and final volume at ten o'clock, and the vintage switch engaged with all horns off. Simply lovely. Articulate, and shakes the whole house. Really up front PBass tone and punch. Be happy for me!
