if the rig was to be used strictly in rehearsals, that could be an idea. And I’m sure it would work. But since I gig with it regularly and I carry my own gear, the thought of schlepping 2 times 30kgs plus amp, when I know that the Four 10 at less than half the weight very likely will be more efficient/louder and most certainly fits my taste better, seems not too tempting.

I could have gone the obc410 route since I dig the sound at least at moderate volumes (haven’t played gig volume with it), but the weight is just off-putting.

I found that adding a couple tens added to both punch and articulation. I had to use the slave out to an extra amp because the 2x12 was already at the 4 ohm minimum. It really sounds great with both, although yesterday I used just the 2x12 and enjoyed it.

Diggin the head with the 212. Can't imagine needing more.
