I can't say enough good things about the build quality of the Bag End's (S-15D's in birch). These things ooze class. Probably the nicest piece of anything in my house. The oiled birch really has to be seen to believed. The joinery is great, the finish nice and smooth, and the texture of the wood grain amazing. Super solid, my son will inherit these. At the in-laws tonight, but its supposed to rain all weekend and hopefully that gives me a chance to play through these a little at home.
