NAD!!!

Well... my first tube head!!!

Drove straight home from a gig in Durham North Carolina to catch the UPS customer center while they were still open!

I'm beyond exhausted... but for now... here's a pic of my new(old) Traynor YBA-3 Custom Special!! (more pics/review later)

For now, i've been awake for 31 hours straight... time for sleep...

So i got to try this out... only for an hour to be considerate to my room mates.

I didn't use the 2x15, but a 1x15 instead... older peavey black widow.

All i can say... is...

woah.

I am such a tube convert now... like EVERY bass sounded great through it. The tone was AMAZING, and pretty damn tweakable with the EQ, expander, and treb/bass booosts.

I'm beyond exhausted and that's about as articulate as i'm gonna get tonight.

In any case... i am EXTREMELY happy with the purchase, and 'Music Go Round' in Detroit (or somewhere in Michigan, at least) did a GREAT job packing and shipping it.

LOL. If NAD was the name of a sports team, we'd see some really interesting flags!

Just imagine THAT cheer...

"GO, NADs!!!!"

Haha, as for the tubes, they're in GREAT condition. 4 6CA7s and 3 12AX7As. After that hour straight of playing, they were warm, but not that hot at all. Super clean sounding. Today i'm gonna hook up the pedal board and see how those sound through it :hyper:

MIJ-VI: Thanks for that link!!! :D

Now i REALLY want to find that Traynor 8x10.
