OK, enough of my whacked-out comments.
After playing on this (between my smart-alek comments) for a while, it seems diming one pickup and leavng the other off sounds better. Of course, that's thru my little Carvin MB10 amp. We'll see how it does at the Christmas party. And...... also seems the neck pickup has more "zing" and the bridge pickup more "boom". Go figure. I've never played an Ignition bass, so I don't know their sound characteristics.

diggin' the pickguard finish on the orange bass :thumbsup:
I tried Rust-Oleum "Hammered Metal" spraypaint in black, but it looked like the surface of the moon...... the moon' backside, that is. Ouch.
A little acetone and some scrubbing action, and the flat black went on. I wish the stripes were flat like that, too....Hmmmm.......
I originally painted the headstock Orange to match, but it just didn't do it for me. If it were a rosewood neck maybe it woulda popped- I dunno.
