Namm 2008, Orange metal flake flea bass

Unless they've dropped the prices, it's closer to $2700.

Ouch! :rollno: Nevermind. Not really enough appeals to me about that specific model of bass to justify the price. For $2700 I'd probably go the custom route or if I wanted Graphite call Zon and pick my own wood and top. Could even build my own through Status I guess. :bassist:

I too think I'd like it quite a bit better if it didn't have the matching headstock though. It'd tone it down just the right amount me thinks.

GradyBass is right. I think that J bass was 1 of a handful. He used that Jazz bass for all of the recording for Stadium Arcadium, but when it came to live concerts, the jazz wasn't cutting throught very well. (Go figure, it was strung with flats.) So now he's back with Modulus as his #1 bass.

I've seen the bass in person and played it, The pictures definitely doesn't do justice to the paintjob. The orange is striking. It's equipped with Aguilar preamp and Badass bridge.... Awesome!!! The sound is unbelievable.... so much into funk, not like a musicman but for me even if i like MM basses very much i find this 10000 times better but that's personnal! Anyone wants one! I'll probably buy 6 for my store....LOL!!!
