NAMM 2010!!! Whats new?

IMG_0563.jpg

I'm lovin this paint job. :p

Shouldn't those switches be labeled 'Gateway' and 'Just say no'? :D

Orange has a 1000 watt Terror bass head. Same size, and appears to be nearly the same weight as the 500. Sounds exactly like the 500. Neato.
They have a range of isobaric cabs, 2x10, 2x12, and 4x10, all in the isobaric format, and all shelf ported. So the 2x's look like singles, and the 4x10 looks like a 2x10 but with way more oomph. I like the 2x10 and 2x12 a lot, not so much the 4x10- it sounded a bit muddy to me but that may have just been the room.

I tried and liked a lot the Peavey VB-3 head into the VB-8x10. Lots and lots of tone, and especially, feel. Like the magazine review said, the compressor is less than wonderful, but who cares- I switched it off. Feels very powerful, and somehow makes it seem easier to play. Weird and nice. I used a Zodiac De Scorpio for my test, also very nice. Plays like butter and sounds really great. A bit heavy though.

Anyone else have any pic requests? I'm leaving in an hour for NAMM and will try to get what I can.

I asked about new stuff (like so many others) in the effects forum about Tech 21.

So if you wouldn't mind. :)
I'm interested if they have any new rack gear.
I might be buying an RBI or RPM, unless there is something new.

Also, Gallien Krueger.
But I'm not going to hold my breath on the MB Fusion. :)
