Wolf makes 50 Basses for the Namm Show each year. This is one of them and is one of a kind. It's an active bass and it's punchy as heck. Here's some Pictures and more details/pics to follow. This amazing WOLF 5 string electric bass was aquired at the 2014 NAMM Show in Anaheim CA. The builder really outdid themselves this time, and the quailty on this bass is simply outstanding! My favourite thing cosmetically is the Rosewood veneer on the headstock, It's a thing of beauty. Clear satin finish over a walnut/ebony body, maple neck throgh the body design, with 2 trussrods for extra stability, ebony fretboard, black hardware, wilkenson tuners Hip shot style bridge, and active pickups by Wolf , this guitar sounds and plays like a high quality instrument should, perfectly. Great lows and very fluid and warm, yet punchy as hell. Weight is about 9.5 lbs on the bathroom scale,(very well balanced). this is one of those, Amazing! . no case but I'll pack it well and ship it quickly Thanks

could you explain the toggle switch and controls in more detail? Volume, blend.....is there bass boost/cut, mid-boost and cut, and treble boost and cut?? Any issues with fret buzz or electronics? Could you describe what "ball-park" sound character this bass has since the pickups are not commonly known ones? Sorry for all the questions, but I am intersted.

The toggle is just a Passive/Active switch.

Aside from the Volume, all the Pots have a detent in the middle position. The range of tones you can get from this bass is incredible.

That looks just like the Raven West bass guitars. Beautiful instrument.
Thanks, The best I can tell is that Wolf works with Raven West and then customizes them for the Namm Show each year. This truly plays like a Boutique bass. Every note on the Fretboard is even in volume and clear as a bell.

Price and trade interests?
I have the Price at $850. Best offers welcome of course. I would trade for anything interesting but would dig a Gibson 5 string bass.

Bump for a Boutique quality, One of a kind bass. This bass is setup perfectly with very low action.

Not particularly knowledgeable about this, but who is Wolf? Neat looking bass.
The wolf builder apparently works with Raven West Guitars to create 50 Custom Basses for the Namm Show each year. They are each custom one of a kind and all have different unique features. This one is pretty sweet with its' walnut body.Truly an amazing bass.

Any way you can post clips?

Fingerboard radius?
I'll try to get clips this weekend. Sorry But I don't know the Radius. No problems with Chords or fretting anywhere on the neck.

The only shot of the front I see is at an angle from the butt, with a cutaway cut off.

You may get a better response if you post one good overall shot from the front, straight on -- helps potential buyers "grasp" what they're trying to imagine buying.

Lots of great trade offers for this but still here. I am dropping the price to $695 due to Gas for a particular Warwick 4 string. For this I will ship to USA in Very Nice SKB Case shown in pictures. I fully stand behind my basses and want this bass to be enjoyed. I will take it back for a full refund if you aren't 100% satisfied. have sold 100's on Ebay with perfect feedback. See member gerrynolanjr.
