You should definately check out Brady Muckelroy with Muckelroy Basses. He is sharing a booth with Mark Wright of AccuGroove. He built the custom fretless in my avatar. It is a stunning instrument, the finest these hands have touched. He is also a super cool dude, and a monster player. He has a few fine specimens of his work with him.

I am not affiliated, just a huge fan. I visited his shop with my family while my fretless was being built and loved him and it so much I ordered 2 more. He has been pretty busy gearing up for the show, but I am excited for him to get back and ramp up production on my new babies. His prices are fantastic by the way. If you want a custom bass, give him a shot.

I about swallowed my tongue when someone said that the Anthony Jackson Fodera was $30K. You have a pic of it and Munji has a few with him holding it (and Chris from Bass San Diego).

It's a good story too, but I'll let Munji tell it.

Ritter has gone off the deep end with a $28K crystal ball guitar and a $18K paisley fabric one.

I have an Ashdown miBass 220. This looks to be the same thing as the miBass series, But in a different casing. front headphone jack, instead of a front "line-in" for an MP3 player.

I was sad to see the miBass so short lived, as they sound very good and have an extremely flexible EQ system. Glad to see something extremely similar.

LOL. Anthony was very gracious about having his picture taken with Chris and, after hearing that BSD (Chris) had sold one of the new signature hybrids, he offered to have the bass in the picture. So Chris went over to the rack to get the bass and got an, "Uh-uh, uh-uh" from Anthony (understably so - that bass is an absolute work of art). But here's the pic. That's Vinny's daughter Laura on the left.
