Any Nash B6 owners? It’s a Nash’s take on a bass VI. I’m sort of surprised there isn’t an existing thread for this. Pickups by Lollar. Curious about the bridge choice. Seems like a nice middle ground between Squire variants, over priced Pawn Shop bass VI’s, and very high priced custom shop and vintage bass VI’s. I’ve got one in candy tangerine with a mint guard on order. Stoked for it to arrive but I don’t think I’ll see it until sometime between Christmas and May Day. Anyone own who wants to fuel my excitement?

How do you like it? (if you got it yet)

And where did you order from?

Just seeing this…. My B6 arrived in April. It’s awesome. It seems like a bargain to me actually. Typical Nash utilitarian finish work. Cool color. Excellent fret work. Very nice Lollar pickups. Quality tone pots and switches. It appears to have a Mustang bridge which is nice and sensible. I might swap it out for a Mastery Bridge at some point but no rush. Years ago I had a Pawn Shop Bass VI. It was a decent player but the pickups and wiring left a lot to be desired. For a little more than what those are fetching on the used market you can get a Nash version that solves all the the things that sucked about that one. The B6 is just all around solid. It functions well as an actual bass. The Pawn Shop version never sounded like an actual bass to me.

I got mine from Thunder Road Guitars PDX. They were super friendly , easy, and professional. The wait time was a year. An upside of doing biz direct with them was that this purchase was tax free as Oregon has no sales tax. This being said, there are some available on Reverb at this moment that you don’t have to wait for. If for some reason Thunder Road is a no go, Humbucker Music is Nash central.

In a nutshell… If you’re interested in a Bass VI, the Nash B6 is a great choice. The best things are that there’s no need to immediately upgrade anything and it costs significantly less than a vintage or custom shop Bass VI. Also, IT JUST SOUNDS AMAZING.

Very cool, I love my PB63 and if I indeed end up with a VI it will be a Nash very likely
