NBBD: Peavey

No, they're single coils.

Trust me, I've had the pleasure of owning at least one of every Peavey bass ever released. Still own 50 odd of them, I'm pretty familiar with the spec

Here's the link to the control cover, provided the plates for the templates myself so I know 100% they fit :)

You want category 1, Foundation 4 hole. Looks like they're $16.50 before shipping.

I love this picture!

thats cool...i see an extra hole in the neckplate...is that a micro tilt feature...?

Yes, that's it! I actually think all basses should have it. Now that I looked to see how it works, I think it would be fairly easy to add to a bass. It's an absolute lifesaver on the fretless peavey I have, as it enables me to get the neck super flat relative to the strings.

Damn! Just stumbled on this pic. This is going to mess with my head for a while! Nice collection. I thought I loved Peaveys ... but I am not worthy!

A question for the Peavey affascinatos here.

I have an old Grind 5, it's a great bass and the neck is perfect for me. Were Peavey necks, especially on the neck-thru basses, fairly consistent profile and radius? I never had much opportunity to play any and now they're gone.

Peavey USA didn't offer that many neck-thru models.

There was the Rudy Sarzo and Unity basses, Unity in passive and Dyna bass variants. Those were 8" radius. The Cirrus basses were flatter and 35" scale length so much closer to your Grind.

Good to hear thanks. I was hoping the Cirrus were close. I missed one yrs ago and regret it. I hope the new ones will be similar.
