That's good to know. I've never owned an instrument with so many options.IMO, T-40's are very sensitive in volume and tone adjustments. I like to have the tone rolled up to about 5 or 6 just to activate them in single coil mode. This gives them a lot of bark with without losing too much bottom end. I like to use the phase switch in single coil mode.
Once you get dialed in, your amp is your best friend. T-40's volume controls do some cray cray things to the tone was well. So once you get the tone you like, I recommend using your gain on the amp to extend.
Congrats and enjoy!!!!!!

So, that's a different pup?Now get yourself a Peavey T-45 and be prepared to have your world rocked!![]()
That's a beaut! I'm intrigued. I'll have to keep my eye out for one. And just when I thought my GAS list was shrinking. It's a single p/u that is "harmonically" placed. However, there is a mid-shift knob that goes from scooped to in your chest. There are a few in the wild. Here is one I picked up from a fantastic TB'er.

I'm planning to have a beat up one soon.I love how these look really beat up, but wow does it also look great this clean.
It looks brand new! Did they do a reissue or something???![]()
Anyone know where I can find a good deal on a back brace?
Anyone know what the extra hole in the neck plate is for? Maybe repositioning the strap button? How much does that neck plate contribute to the overall weight? I don't think I've seen one that thick before.
