NBD, 2001 Ibanez SR400.

I just happened to be looking at the FB marketplace when a used Korean Ibanez SR400 PJ bass popped up for $120. Knowing next to nothing about them, I did a quick search and found them listed on Reverb for 3 to 4 times that, depending on exact model. Contacted the seller and had the bass in my grubby little mitts within 30 minutes of the listing. The neck is straight, and the setup is pretty good. The strings will need to be replaced due to some corrosion, the electronics work as they should with no scratch or pop. It has the Ibanez active 3 band EQ, 4 string, 2 piece ash body, rosewood board. It is in wonderful shape for a bass made in 2001, just a bit of dust and crud in the nooks and crannies, and a few tiny dings here and there. The board is in need of a good cleaning and a polish of the frets. But overall, I am pretty happy with my score, though I needed another bass like I need a hole in the head. :p Once I decide on strings I will give it the full spa treatment, right now it is in my shop waiting on me to decide on strings, I'm thinking tapes...

And it came with a craptastic $3 gig bag.
