NBD 2026 Alembic John McVie #27 Replica

Well that's just a work of art.

….and a masterpiece at that.
In person, everyone who has seen it can't believe how cohesive and fancy it is; with the gold and everything it doesn't come off of gaudybut it definitely comes off as special. The trident on the peghead is decorative unlike McVie's which was added after a possible neck repair. The tone reminds me of a 70s radio bass, if you know what I mean. Like McVie's the tone is also on the darker side; it's not as bright at the typical settings that someone would have on their Alembic. It has an inherent mid thing going like a P Bass that really will help it present in a mix.

I toured with two Bag End S15B in natural wood color matched with two Bag End Single 10 cabs in my rig in the 80s when I was touring with Charlie Sexton.
