New bass I recently acquired
Neck is straight, brand new strings(I used nickel 45-100 gauge rounds)
It had flats on it before but I mainly use rounds, it’s a beauty! Previous owner installed treble bezel! It plays nice and sounds like a ric

Looks like a 4003s. The better design IMO. Rics are cool. If they're your thing. Played a 4001 and 4001s for tens years. Since I switched to 5 string, not so much.

It’s funny you say that! I bought my first ric a few months ago(a 4003) and I liked the look and the sound, however the binding on the body was really uncomfortable on my wrist, this one with the smooth edges is a huge difference in comfort, I’m really digging it after playing it
