Just picked up this US Music Man SUB series Stingray for $600 CDN. I think that's a pretty good deal. It's got a 2 band eq and does that classic 80's Stingray sound very well.
I've taken the neck off to strip the black paint off the back and refinish it with tru-oil and gunstock wax like Music Man does now.
Next, I am probably going to strip the body and get that refinished as well, just haven't decided what colour to do. I feel like the paint on the body is going to give me a lot harder time to strip then the neck. If anyone has any experience stripping the paint off of one of these, let me know please!
