Ahh yes. That color is insane. I saw it up there and it almost got me to pull the trigger. BUT Waiting for a flamed maple board myself. Let a raspberry sorbet one pass by about 6 months ago that I'm still kicking myself for

Dat water on top of the rig…That's beautiful, and looks like a killer rig!!
Dat water on top of the rig…
I have been wanting a Stingray Classic for while now but just haven't found the right deal until last week when I saw this one on Reverb. It's a 2010 in a color that I haven't seen a Stingray Classic in, plus an ebony fretboard. Great looking neck as well with birdseye and flame. An amazing bass, for sure.
I was able to take it out right away to a gig last night and it sounded great. (Odd stage, a car lift, in a car dealership for about 500 people).

Not so long ago there was a Thread about this color of Stingray and its tru name.
BTW, how does it weight? I sold mine Classic because of overweight and since then looking for another one that is not a back killer (loved the sound).
Anyway, killer rig!![]()
yes... TORT!Love the look. It came with the white pickup cover but I might have to pick up a tort guard for it too.
