It’s been about three weeks since I got this beauty, and I figure I have a good enough idea of how it turned out to post a review.
Let me start by saying that working with Tom Clement was an absolute pleasure. Tom was incredibly communicative and collaborative throughout the entire process. He took the time to understand exactly what I was looking for, and offered thoughtful guidance along the way — even advising against certain ideas when he felt they wouldn’t work out well.
The finished bass is everything I hoped for and more. It balances beautifully and has extremely comfortable ergonomics, making it a joy to play whether standing or sitting. The build quality is truly world class — not in the sterile, machine-perfect sense, but in a way that feels organic, intentional, and full of character.
The fretwork is flawless, allowing for impressively low action without buzz. The neck profile fits my hand perfectly and gives me a level of comfort and control that already feels like it's helping me play better and more confidently.
Tonally, the bass has a rich, woodsy resonance with a responsiveness that really shines — whether I’m making subtle changes in technique or dialing in EQ adjustments, the instrument reacts musically and naturally.
