Very excited about my new custom Creston bass, which just arrived today. I asked for:
- Jazz-type body, but with wider Precision-type neck (1-5/8 at the nut)
- Made from alder wood, and also chambered, so it's pretty light; color is walnut (though it's close to brown)
- Lollar hum-cancelling pickups
- An extra knob, for master volume; so it's 1. master tone and master volume, stacked, 2. neck pickup, 3. bridge pickup
- Large side fret markers to see in dark venues
- Painted headstock, because I'm a sucker for that
