Here is my new Dingwall 5. I got it one week ago and spent the weekend with it in the studio with my rock band. It is an amazing instrument. I have been playing a combustion for a few years. It is an awesome axe, but this Canadian beauty is in a whole different league. The hipshot extender on the B string gives an awesome A string when used, very tight and articulate. The tone is to die for.
The controls are as follows:
Volume(pull passive), 4 way pickup selector(neck, both series, both parallel, bridge solo. Glockenlang 3 band preamp, bass mid treble.
The finish is candy purple, it is almost black in appearance until light hits it, the purple comes alive.
This the finest instrument I have ever put my hands on.
