NBD! Fender Am Dlx Dimension V HH Root Beer Metallic

So I've been looking to add an HH 5'er since I sold my SR 5.I had a few months to really research EB, G&L, Warwick's and Fender. I really liked the neck specs on the Dimension, the pickup switching intrigued me very much. Once I heard various video sound demos I was sold.
No luck finding one that wasn't over priced for my budget, on Reverb and eBay. Lo and behold one came up in TB classifieds, I couldn't pull the trigger fast enough.
Well, after a few hours with it, I can say that it's definitely what I was expecting to feel and hear.
Not a stingray clone at all, but definitely has J bass on steroids tone, and neck pickup soloed is P bass territory to my ear. The pickups are hot, so a lighter touch is good.
Ok, no pics no bass!
edit: P.S.the tuners are great too, once on pitch they don't move( 1 issue I have with my Sire)

My eyes, hands and ears are jealous! My bank account thanks you! I would have been sorely tempted. I've wanted a 5 string HH Dimension every since getting my Mexican 4 stringer on a SDOTD. A reasonably priced American would have been very, VERY hard to pass up!

If you're saying the color name is Root Beer and not Root Beer Metallic, it seems to me that Fender uses Sherwood Green and Sherwood Green Metallic to refer to the same color depending on context. It is likewise with:

Sage Green Metallic (Sage Green)
Ice Blue Metallic (Ice Blue)
Charcoal Frost Metallic (Charcoal Frost),
etc.

So that resolves that. The store listed the bass as Black, but @Jamarvic as the previous owner (of my bass) says it's Root Beer/Root Beer Metallic. Cool with me—I like it.

It's a wonderful bass. I like how all five switch positions are very usable and the asymmetrical neck profile with the compound radius feels absolutely amazing. Coupled with the better body contours and lighter weight I find I prefer it to my 1998 StingRay 5H and 2001 StingRay 5H.

According to an e-mail from Fender Customer Support, only 76 of these were ever made, which is pretty cool. I assume that doesn't count the four-string model.
