Hows it play? I have the same exact bass, but from a Mod Shop order. I just cant get along with the neck. Maybe over the years I've become used to the smaller profile of Modulus, Fodera, Sterlings, but man the P feels so gigantic to me now (pause lol). The fret level also isn't the best, got some buzzing past 12 if the action is where I like it. Im considering a new neck.

I got a Pro II directly from Fender and I don't ever think I got a certificate. I wouldn't sweat it at all, nothing I'd expect to receive from a used sale at any point in the future. Enjoy your new bass.

It plays fine. If you’re buzzing above 12 it’s probably because the string height is too low at the bridge. Try raising the saddles a bit and tighten the truss rod to compensate.
