NBD - Fender Elite Jazz: Champagne Magic!

@phillipkregg that Elite is an absolute beauty and the black pickguard gives it just the right look. As I have said many times, there are some wonderful Jazz clones or Jazz influenced basses like the ANB205 you mentioned, but there is something about an actual Fender that is special when done right.

Beautiful, mines a 4 banger , it s such a joy to play. It's my number 1 now.I went with WD but went the pearloid to match the inlays.

Bought mine in January and use it for most of the stuff in EGB. I found myself getting great tones in passive mode that really sat well in our mix. I love the final look of yours now that the black pick guard is there....I’m surprised that Fender chose antique pearl with black pearl block and black binding. That makes no sense.

Love the champagne and maple, but I’m an ebony guy from the old days and went with Jade Pearl. Color not withstanding, the Elite neck is awesome and a pleasure to play. Now, how long can you hang onto this one? Good luck with it!

I would LOVE to have an ANB205. Ibanez does a great job on higher end Jazz style basses. I thought the Grooveline series was very underrated. The 205 may much better because it does look odd.
