Prone to ranting, episodes of moral outrage.
Another new distraction. This is the 4th scratch and dent from MF but the first that actually has a couple of small scratches and dents, plus a bit of an end grain tear starting at the control cavity that I will attack with super glue before it gets out of hand.
Strung it up with new cobalts to make a very nice player. (apologies for the crappy pic)

Congrats. The SR500 has always been one of the best bass bargains around.

At some point, it was a best seller for Ibanez, so it always amazed me that they didn't upgrade the crappy coating they use in the finish. Sneeze near the body and the paint will come off. All the used ones I've seen look absolutely battered. I'd apply some clear coat to protect it.
