I saw Paul Revere and the Raiders when I was in the 6th grade. First time I saw a Longhorn. The whole band was dressed in paisley. So I saw this paisley gift wrap and thought what the heck.

I was pretty blown away first time plugging in the Longhorn. Difficult to fathom how it can sound this BIG!

I always tend to prefer the less common (read: non-FSO) and mostly symmetrical body designs. It's fun & satisfying to stand out with something more unique.

Sweet! I was going to buy one myself around the same time to keep my ‘74 Ripper company. But I missed the boat and I’ve regretted it ever since.

My concept of just what made a good bass was forever altered after I got my Longhorn. Despite being designed to be cheap , they’re great basses. The wooden bridge works , there is a sweet spot for it. And despite the light weight , they’re tough as nails.
