This thing sounds really great. But the factory round wounds are going bye bye. Going to test run Chromes and Precision Flats and see which the bass prefers.
Had a little more time to dig into the sound and feel of this bass tonight. Wow. The GHS Precision Flats sound great. The fretboard and back of the neck feel fantastic. I was a little worried about the #12 profile but it suits me really well. I was also a little worried that it wouldn't be a sizable step up in everything from my MiM P...man was I wrong. Massive step up.
