I do, but the inner part that snapped is lost.
I don’t know what year. Haven’t done a serial check. I’m a big fan of Fujigen (Ibanez) basses — a look at my sig will tell anyone that, and I have just as many guitars from that factory — but this one is really quite nice. I don’t think it will knock FGN off it’s number one spot in my heart but the legend is legit. And yeah this finish is no joke.
It came to me very weirdly and wrongly set up, at some wild angles. I got it squared away. The sharpness of the drop is very different from, say, a round old P-bass bridge.
That’s a great idea. The value of MIA and MIJ explorer basses from any maker keeps going up and up from what I’m seeing, and I’d love to have the originals intact and available as part of any future sale but I should probably just get over that.

OP, you didn't snag this from a guy up in the Yukon by chance? (I'm in British Columbia, had one watchlisted on Reverb for bit, being sold by a guy up there...)
Always loved that body style... just got tired of hitting mic stands and door frames with the back corner... Not a problem with the bass.... more of the idiot that was holding it.

Y’all have some interesting packing techniques up there — I’ve flown Alaska Airways and seen it — and this was no different! But it mostly arrived intact.
Congrats! A ZZB deluxe was my first bass. I loved that thing! I wish I’d never sold it. Mine balanced perfectly and the neck was awesome. The pups are essentially reverse Ps. IIRC, it’s a medium scale (32”) length. Such an awesome bass.
