Yesterday I received my second headless, fretless, left handed uke bass by Lignum, only this one is a six shooter to add to my fiver.
Scale length: 23"
Fingerboard radius: 12"
Pickups: Delano SBC 6 HE/S-4 set
Controls: VVT
Bridge: Riviera RBBS headless single bridge
Headpiece: Riviera
Body wood: Hornbeam
Neck: Maple with mahogany veneers
Top Wood: Bookmatched rosewood
Fingerboard wood: White ebony
Side dots: Fiber optic
I wanted to have Pyramid strings installed so I contacted Max and he was able to make a six string tapewound set for me. I have mentioned before that Max has ceased shipping to the USA because his shipping company, DHL, has stopped shipments to the USA probably because of the 'T' word. I've been wanting to make a big order of strings from him for several months, so it occurred to me that since he was willing to send the 6 sting tapewound set to Lignum in Croatia may he would be willing to take my big order and send everything over there too so that Lignum could ship all the strings with the new bass. Happily, Max agreed to do it and so now I have a good supply of strings for all my other uke basses. Yay!
