NBD: Sandberg California II VM5

First post here, long time reader and starting with very good news :D

After dreaming about a Sandberg with a natural finish for a long time, I found one and couldn't resist any longer. It finally arrived today and I couldn't be happier. Alder body, maple neck. Feels, plays and sounds absolutely amazing right out of the box, the craftsmanship is flawless.
And it weighs just under 8.2 pounds without any noticeable neck dive

Only thing I did was putting some Sunbeams on and after a short trip to the grocery store later I'll probably be playing all day and most of the night

Classy and beautiful! Congrats! The all black hardware against the natural finish and maple neck looks great. That pickup combination is really cool. I remember when I first tried out a bunch of Sandbergs, I wasn't sure about the reverse P and humbucker combination but it sounded great and had a lot of heft. Enjoy and please let us know how it works out for you once you've had more time with it.
