NBD! Squier Jaguar Affinity in Lake Placid Blue

I picked it up used off guitarcenter.com for $200 plus shipping. The only issue is the gouge by the control plate. That will buff out, right? ;)

Anyway, the electronics will be modded. I'm just not sure with what at the moment.

Cool, and maple board too!

I just bought one of these yesterday for my daughter; metallic gray with rosewood board. Gosh, it sounds perfectly good as is, and the neck is straight as an arrow.

The blue and black ones come with maple fretboards. This is the first instrument in my collection that has a maple fretboard. All of the guitars and basses I own and have owned have not had a maple fretboard. It was either going to be blue or grey for me.

Regarding the sound, the pickup is a bit hot for my tastes. It often clips and is overdriven on the E string for me. I just prefer alnico to ceramic.

Like you said, though, it's nicely built, and I like playing it.
