I don't generally do NBD threads, but I'm pretty stoked about this one. I play primarily short scale basses, but with the size and dimensions of this bass, I feel right at home. I also generally use flats on my basses, and even bought some double ball flats and tapes to try on this (I have a weird texture thing, and rounds generally send chills through my body), but the rounds that came on this feel great, and the slap tone is amazing and effortless. Just came in the mail today, so I'm still in the honeymoon phase. But I feel like this one is a keeper! To the extent that I kinda want a fretless and possibly a 5 string version, but we'll see. In any case, I highly recommend them!

Nice. I have a Hohner B2B headless with original case from the early 80s. Not sure about yours, but the pickups and out-put on this paddle are amazing. My biggest issue was adjusting to the "missing" head as a reference point. And of course, tuning from the bottom of the body is different. Enjoy! :)

The more I play this thing, the more I love it. Love the double ball string system, too. So fast to switch between rounds, flats and tapes for even wider range of sounds. My only gripe is the lack of an active/passive switch. I want a fretless now...
