This puppy was sold as a "silent practice bass". My original thought was using the neck for the "Soviet P" project, and parting out the pickup and bridge, but I kinda like the look. I'm going to wire up a pot and jack, and see what sounds come out.

Due to my limited imagination, I shall name her Twiggy.

So. The pickups that were on there were dummies. I have other pickups, but they wouldn't fit properly: the flanges were too big.

Now that the Dremmel is here, I solved the problem by cutting off the flanges. Now I have to find some washers today or tomorrow, and put the sponges in underneath. I'm still debating what kind, if any, controls to put on.

But at least I now have working pickups on this puppy.
